Any of my fellow members like to dabble in art?
One of my many skills is in drawing, and I've been drawing as far back as I can remember. Most of it is cartoon stuff, but there was a small period when I tackled life drawing.
Unfortunately I don't do much drawing from life anymore, but I'm waiting for a good time to take up evening classes. They have the added bonus of seeing the occasional spot of flesh.

I always used to draw cars as houses as a kid and it is something I would like to get back in to doing again.
Much respect to ya Drew as I cant draw a person to save my life, and I think if I ever did try they would probably kill me for my interpretation of them!
Post up some of your work so we can see.

I'm a fairly keen sketcher, it's just having the time!
I import art and oil paintings for a living - though most of my sketches are done in ink/ pencil as (ironically considering my job) I'm colour blind!
It'd be great to see others work up though.

You import artwork for a living? Sounds like a cool job - you could be a bit like Thomas Crown.

Yeah - Actually I mainly deal in oil replicas (Monets, Vermeer, etc), so it's funny you should say that but it kinda is a bit Thomas Crown like.
Your figures are really good, they remind me of (if anyone apart from me has seen it) Invader Zim. There are quite a few really cool art boutiques selling graffiti style street art now that do pretty well - You ever stuck some up for sale?

I haven't ever sold any of my work, mostly because I never thought anyone would buy them; they're probably not commercial enough to sell in hundreds, nor attractive enough to be collectable or appreciated. But who knows?

I actually have a DA but its full of pictures of my sock monkeys
Nothing great. I actually didnt know that you could post pictures of your sewing creations so i spose its quite cool. I have some of my lomography pics on there too tho Im really into photography at the mo.

Want to talk about being ignoored? Australia forgets that Tasmania exists, it has even been left off maps until they realised they forgot. Sure maybe if it was a little island...But...IT'S A STATE!
